There are many events happening within the black, carribean, and latino communities this summer in Ditmas Park yet all we have are pictures of anorexic looking white women on the Ditmas Park Blog. Why not celebrate the gatherings of longtime Ditmas residents who are trying to preserve the culture of the neighborhood. Why on earth does Ditmas Park instead choose to focus on the awful awful Purple Yam restaurant? No, that does not count as diversity just because the owners are Pacific Islanders. My god the food is horrible. No taste whatsoever yet that is all that the blog talks about.
Demand that Ditmas Park Blog cover ALL of what Ditmas Park has to offer.
