ACTION ALERT: STOP LIENA'S HIRING

All,

We must do EVERYTHING possible to stop the hiring of racist gentrification lady, Liena, from being employed by Patch. In her new role, she will have control over the type of content that people see on local blogs. This is awful. She will continue her "whites only" writing and expand it well beyond Ditmas Park. WE MUST STOP HER EMPLOYMENT WITH PATCH.

There will be more details as to what YOU can do early next week to stop this racist.

Protest Racist Liena's Hiring at HuffPost

If any of you dear readers are in D.C. tonight you can participate in a protest against the hiring of Liena at the Huffpost.

Please arrive by 8pm outside of the Washington Hilton(Dupont North). There will also be a protest against other racist media figures such as Donald Trump.

They call themselves a "liberal" news organizaiton? HuffPost has just announced that they have hired Liena and her awful gentrification ways to oversea "local" blogs. This is horrible. Probably not as bad as that picture of her though.

I can no longer remain silent on what should be just common knowledge to everyone who graduated high school. This should also be common knowledge for someone who went to Yale and who graduated from Yale on their supposed "merit" and not connections. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD-- EGYPT, LIBYA, TUNISIA, ARE ALL IN NORTH AFRICA AND NOT THE MIDDLE EAST. WHY DO YOU KEEP REFERRING TO "UPRISINGS" IN THE MIDDLE EAST YOU IDIOT.

Ditmas Park Blog on African-Americans

The email box has been full with people asking for comment on Liena's post about two black children in the library researching for books on Black History Month. Apparently this is supposed to be Ditmas Park Blogs contribution to Black History Month. I don't really know what to say because it is more than obvious that if Liena associated with anyone of color that she would know that her "joke" was offensive and also not news. The woman is an insensitive racist hack. No one should be surprised.

What else is happening?

I stumbled upon a post by the founder of Ditmas Park Blog in which he claims to not write "opinion journalism." I was surprised to read that given this disgraceful piece on Michelle Obama in which he tries to smear her for being a radical Afro-American.

As they say, "once a cracker always a cracker."

Ben has been posting in the comments

I am going to do my best to keep this website going for Eloise but I just thought that I would share with the community that after a thorough trace, Ben has been posting as "anonymous" in the comments section for months. I will be submitting his inappropriate rants to his employer for their review including the trace evidence.

This blog is to bring up legitimate concerns about gentrification. To have our adversary "anonymously" posting in the comments nasty rants is inappropriate and uncalled for. There is no need to be so uncivil Ben.

Prayers for Eloise

The founder of this blog and an inspiration to many in the neighborhood is having surgery to remove a benign tumor. Please keep Eloise and her family in your prayers. In the meantime, I will do what I can to keep the website running.
