The numbers are out from the Census and New York City is still one of the most racially segregated cities in the country. I know that the gentrifiers would like to try to spin the fact that our neighborhood as diverse but if you look closely at the maps, we aren't that diverse. White folks still live together and socialize together. Blacks folks likewise. It is okay! We minorities SHOULD stick together.
Just say no to gentrification!

In other, earthly news, you need to realize when you have an argument and when you have a rant. Here, you have a rant. Case in point you criticize a group for a behavior and then promote said behavior amongst another group.
If your aim was to convince no one but confuse everyone, well done. Well done indeed.
Police looking for rapist

Police are looking for a man who raped two women and sexually assaulted a third over near near the intersection of Bedford and Flatbush avenues.
Latest incident took place last Friday: “The man was waiting in the lobby of the building when a 36-year-old woman arrived home just before 2 a.m. The man followed the woman into the elevator, got off with her and forced himself into her apartment when she opened the door, cops said.
Inside, he “severely beat her” in the face and then raped her. Afterward, he fled through the bedroom window and down the fire escape, according to the NYPD.” Patch reports.
Police believe the same man is responsible for an assault on May 2 this year, and on April 13, 2008, all near the same intersection.
In all three cases, the women described the men as black, in his late 20s, between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a medium build, medium to dark skin tone and short black hair, according to the NYPD.

ReplyDeleteThe anti-black sentiments in America today are based on the facts of black violence, black academic underachievement, black substance abuse, black illegitimacy and black fatherlessness.
What is the usual white response to these issues? On a personal level, most whites choose to move away from the problems.
White flight from Harlem led to a Harlem that was a crime- and drug-ridden dump. Now that whites are returning to Harlem, it's becoming a far better place. Same holds for several Brooklyn neighborhoods.
The real problem is blacks undermining themselves -- something that happens everywhere and most tragically all across Africa.
