More Proof That DitmasParkBlog Founder Doesnt' Like Minorities

Reason Number 80641 Why we don't like the gentrification of Ditmas Park

USA Today featured an interesting article today about how affluent minorities live in poorer neighborhoods and are quite frankly happy. It's true! My husband and I are minorities and loved this neighborhood because our neighbors were both low income and middle-upper income. We all were minorities though and could share our cultural beliefs with one another. It was nice to be able to come home from work (in predominantly white environments) and unwind with your neighbors who could share your trials. It sucks seeing these new white establishments where people like Ben and Liena patronize which leads to higher rents which forces out the TRUE gems of the neighborhood. One of my main problems with white people like those that run the Ditmas Park Blog is that they are selfish. They are not interested in learning about your community and background and how to preserve the community for which they have taken over. They want YOU to adapt for their own selfish reasons.

The only way that we can truly SAVE Ditmas Park is to do whatever possible to make sure that minorities of all economic backgrounds can stay in this neighborhood and not be priced out by gentrifying selfish trolls.

Our favorite resident commenter would be happy to know that DPB troll, Ben has written an article about how the Jews hate our first black president. This should surprise no one. Jews are racist. Now where is Josh to come along and claim that there was some sort of "bond" between jews and minorities.

DitmasParkBlog Launches "Faces of Ditmas"

Apparently in an effort to show just how happy everyone in the neighborhood is and how diverse Victorian Flatbush is, the cretins over at DPB have launched an ongoing photo blog of the residents. Interesting as they have yet to feature our latino neighbors. Moreover, the blacks that they feature are either Haitian drummers or a homeless guy. Wonderful! Would someone please remind DPB that there are plenty of upper-middle class black and latinos living in the beautiful homes in our neighborhood who could be featured.

Hi All,

I am not back full time as I am quite sick. Had surgery to remove some fluid from around my heart. Anyway, I am watching television and lo and behold there is Ben on talking about Rep. Weiner. Now maybe this is cultural but he looks a mess. Who let him go on tv looking as awful as he does? Do you see his hair? Do you think that any producer would let someone on tv looking such a mess?

This is the guy who tries to be the face of our neighborhood. Please.

Will Ditmas Park Blog feature any of the mutlicultural happenings this summer?

There are many events happening within the black, carribean, and latino communities this summer in Ditmas Park yet all we have are pictures of anorexic looking white women on the Ditmas Park Blog. Why not celebrate the gatherings of longtime Ditmas residents who are trying to preserve the culture of the neighborhood. Why on earth does Ditmas Park instead choose to focus on the awful awful Purple Yam restaurant? No, that does not count as diversity just because the owners are Pacific Islanders. My god the food is horrible. No taste whatsoever yet that is all that the blog talks about.

Demand that Ditmas Park Blog cover ALL of what Ditmas Park has to offer.

This is way off subject but anyone else watching 60 minutes? That is what one of Ben's most likely cousins just said about THOSE PEOPLE not dividing Jerusalem and kicking out Palestinians.

Look, I think it is more than obvious that Ben's people are downright racists. They despise brown people. Did anyone see how one of Ben's people ran over an innocent brown Palestinian child. My god. Just an awful scamming, racist group of people.

No wonder why we can't expect anything more from Ben. It's part of his culture.

Racist Ben Smears College Aged Person of Color

A local congressman found himself entangled in a hoax in which someone alleged that he had uploaded NSFW photo. He allegedly tagged the photo to one of his followers who we have since learned is an underage person of color. Why do we know this? Dearest racist pos Ben writes a story based on a posting by an unbelievably unreliable racist conservative source. The poor girl is now getting harassed because of Ben.

What an utter disgrace to the neighborhood.

How can anyone forget the NY Times article featuring neighborhood racist, Mary Kay Gallagher? This is a woman who refuses to sell to people of color and Liena and Co had the nerve to call out the Times for calling Gallagher what she is--a racist. Well, here we are months later and DitmasParkBlog is now featuring MKG's listings.

Why won't DPB feature listings from the minority agents in the neighborhood?
